PurityMap is provided for informational and educational purposes. The information is compiled from public records that can lag or contain errors, is provided "as is," and is not a substitute for a certified test of your own water or professional advice.
Advisory and educational nature
PurityMap compiles public municipal and federal water records to make them legible. System-level records describe sampling at the system, and do not guarantee the presence or absence of any contaminant at an individual household tap. For certainty about your tap, use certified laboratory testing.
Accuracy and "as is"
Public data can lag, be revised, or contain errors upstream. We date every reading and qualify sparse or stale records rather than filling gaps, but we provide the information "as is," without warranty of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
Recommendations
Treatment recommendations are automated guidance based on published findings and verified certifications; they are not professional engineering or medical advice. Verify any product's exact model in the official certification registry before purchase.
